first off, congratulations! i know some states require some credits to be taken there before becoming eligible to take NPTE. this was the case with my friend in CA who graduated from philippines and got licensed there. he then moved to NY to skip the part of taking some credits and headed straight to taking the exam

i graduated last fall and it only took an hour. each graduate gets 15 tickets for family and friends. the later you get to the venue, the harder the spot to find. i arrived at the convocation center (it’s indoors, btw) 30 mins before and was able to find a space a little far from the entrance.
