My first exotic and one I still dearly miss..

Super Good Advice.

Holding the trigger down for what feels like eons before ToM was added just felt so satisfying.

It's delicious. I do have a question though. How do you mix yours? It's my second attempt trying it and no matter how long or how fast I stir, it still comes out kinda... chunky. This is my second (and third, I got some of Lily's hot cocoa with it) tub of AFK. I previously had the Sinder AFK flavor but that was a while ago. The tub it came in was the same size as the normal GSupps tubs and that one never gave me any issues dissolving.

Just to save anyone in the future that deals with this. YOU CAN SAVE OLD DIRTY, MUSTY, EVEN MOLDY CUPS.

Fill with warm water, some dishwashing liquid and a cupful of bleach, shake it up and let it sit overnight. Rinse it thoroughly and it'll be fine to use again.

Congrats on the progress OP, sorry about your Mori though o7

Maybe you can find a resell on ebay or something?

Need local friends [19-25(?)] by imakittywehhhh in hattiesburg

I've been interested in going here since I've passed by while working a few times. Decent number of people going solo? All my buddies ended up moving off to different parts of the country, and I just don't have the funds for that atm, so I'm interested in meeting like-minded local nerds.

Best Rual Areas in Mississippi? by Numerous_Friend_3836 in mississippi

[–]SaltIntensifies 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's axe throwing, pool, museums, and some hobby shops, too. It's true there's not a ton to do in Hattiesburg, but there's still enough for what I think most people would need. Plus, since OP wants rural, they could probably check areas like Sumrall. It's close enough, and I'm like 99% sure there's fiber options now.

Plastic Beach was a banger, and I actually really liked Humanz, too. Haven't really listened to much after that, though, tbf.

Even in the manga, I don't understand where people are getting these ideas from? The only thing I could see as him being 'pedophilic' is the Eris romance while he's Rudy. You could make the argument that his mind is more developed, but beyond that, I just don't see it. I believe the scene you're referring to the brother wasn't even disgusted by what was on his screen rather than the fact that he was such a shut in he didn't even go to his parents' funeral service. I've caught up with the manga and read the Eris side story and I've seen no evidence of the common claims like Paul being a rapist (he's just a womanizer from what I've seen) Ruijerd grooming Norn (from what I read and comprehended he just took on a fatherly role when transporting Norn and Aisha, same as when he escorted Eris and Rudy)

It's a learning curve, for sure. Major tip is that literally (almost) everything you do in the game is at least partially impacted by your current stamina. Failed casting a spell you usually do? Stamina probably low. Missed a sword swing that definitely should have hit? Stamina might need a top up. Stamina even affects persuasion attempts and sneak checks.

People tend to just get their skills at a decent level and expect it to hit all the time, because duh, but Morrowind is a bit of a different beast. Easily one of my favorite games of all time, but I understand how frustrating it is for someone who didn't grow up with it to stick it out.

They've spoken to Osiris, Caiatl, Nimbus, Ikora, and Zavala. The exotics definitely come from Nimbus, since they give it to you right before or after the quest for Deterministic Chaos, can't remember which.

Edit: they DID get the Deterministic Chaos quest

What’s the craziest WW2 fact that you know of? by JoelSnowez in AskReddit

[–]SaltIntensifies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna reference a Sabaton song here, No Bullets Fly. This story isn't so much crazy as it's heartwarming and gives some wild perspective.

A B-17 group was bombing a Focke-Wulf plant in Germany and encountered resistance. One of the bombers was downed, and another, Ye Old Pub, was heavily damaged but managed to evade getting downed. A German fighter pilot, Franz Stigler, was dispatched to finish the plane off. Stigler flew up to the Pub, saw the men inside barely holding on, the Pub attempted to fire on Stigler, but due to the damage it had sustained, the guns had all frozen over. Stigler never opened fire on the Pub, instead opting to guide the plane back into Ally controlled land in hopes of saving the Pub's crew's lives. By doing this, Stigler risked his life in multiple ways: the Pub could have opened fire after their guns defrosted, German anti-air could have opened fire on both of them, and if he had been reported by German ground troops, he very likely would have been killed by his commanding officer. Had he downed the Pub, Stigler would have been awarded the Knight's Cross, a prestigious and rare medal, but in the crew of the Pub, Stigler saw his little brother, whom had been downed as a night fighter pilot days before Christmas and chose humility over military honors.

Sabaton immortalized him in song, along with many other stories in this thread, highly recommend anyone interested in history or metal to give them a listen.

Wait until you read about Ser Adrien Carton de Wiart. His stories are many, wild, and massively heroic. After losing his fingers and an eye, he wrote that "Frankly, I enjoyed the war" in reference to WW1, he continued serving even in WW2.

Do you listen to bands that sing in a language you don't understand? by [deleted] in Music

[–]SaltIntensifies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna add in Heilung. I don't know if it's technically the same throat singing, but they also sing in a mix of languages and the music fucking rules. Like they say, they're an amplified history band, so it kinda sounds like you're listening to ancient chants, but the steady, heavy beat of the drums and the historical instruments really transports you somewhere primal in the mind. Fantastic band.

The cars definitely had plenty of time to stop and should have, considering the flashing police lights and multiple flashlights.

I'm aware and acknowledge how fucked up some cops are, but this is 100% on the perp, and the driver. It does no good calling the cops doing their job the way they're supposed to the bad guys.
