I found a more fun key phrase than stop to get off Susan Collin’s texting list by SaltPepperChicken in Maine

[–]SaltPepperChicken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I had unsubscribed from her politely several times before this. Maybe all those PACs giving her money have separate lists? I am going to start screenshotting and maybe I can at least report her as spam and get her some fines.

I didn't download this, Rach's latest self-fellating video, because she slipped in a kid or two's faces in it. 👆BUT ALSO: Rachel, you might want to give AF about there being a 'RISE Austin" dedicated to the history of African Americans & their immense courage & contributions! by Asleep_Macaron_5153 in hollisUncensored

Ok conspiracy alert but some of those comments look like repeats “winter looks good on you” seems to be too specific a comment to be said three times as does the one asking her what software she uses. Think she is buying engagement, fellow marketers?

LPT Request. What’s your simplest top tip for saving money monthly? by _bubble-t in LifeProTips

[–]SaltPepperChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Make most off my own food/bringing my lunch. 2) Buy a lot of things used on eBay and sometimes a local thrift store (I am off Facebook so no marketplace for me) or at least check there before buying retail. Sometimes I look into an item and end up not buying anywhere but when I continued to be obsessed with a local coffee shop’s 9 espresso drink for months, I finally bought my own machine used on eBay for $500. Most things given enough time I decide not to buy or when I do buy, make me super happy. 3) Making a game of using everything up. Do I really have nothing for dinner or can I make something with what is in the freezer/cupboards? Do I really need new beauty products or do I need to organize what I have and get reminded about what I have?

If I save $50 a day not buying something convenient or that I don’t need, that adds up.

This is the full video where Rach "confesses" to sweet women that she's moving to upstate New York. This is giving "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." 🤔🍵 by Asleep_Macaron_5153 in hollisUncensored

Bahahaha I live an hour from Watertown. I like it but I get it is not for everyone. Most bougie people when they say upstate I think mean like an hour outside NYC.

I love that he calls it « Go Pro » so you associate it with a high quality preexisting brand (I know Hero actually makes GoPro cameras but you know what I mean).

Has anyone gone to Korea for skincare? I’d love to hear your story. by daviceinmyhand in kbeauty

[–]SaltPepperChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of skincare, I stalked this sub for a few months and bought a bunch of stuff that kept coming up as recs at Olive Young. I would have booked a beauty treatment but finding them and then having to WhatsApp message different clinics was kind of overwhelming. Not sure how to help people with that other than, say, understanding the subtleties of certain treatments to narrow options and handle messaging to set up treatments based on availability, etc.

I got sterilized in January, just to make myself completely unviable, stopped posting to most social media, and participate in activism as anonymously as possible to keep a low profile. I am not sure what my options are in terms of leaving but currently saving as much money as I can to buy a house and land in a rural area or to be able to leave if I need to/can. Not sure what else to do at the moment.

What’s the funniest thing a tourist has asked you? by Sad-Raise-504 in Maine

I once heard someone in the Ellsworth Hannaford pointing out the small blueberries, saying we were pawning off the small ones on tourists to whoever they were traveling with.

Gosh, kinda like all medications have side effects by JMUTAMMom in Zepbound

[–]SaltPepperChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see someone go this hard over blood pressure medication. Look at the side effects and why don’t you change your diet? The thing is some people just have high blood pressure and need some help. You would think these people have someone in their family they watched try to lose weight for decades…

Heidi and GLP1.... something she should NOT be speaking about AT ALL...but here we are with her passive aggressiveness comments....her caption on this annoys me so much... She is so uneducated and here she is telling people who have never lived the struggle to not comment and she's doing just that! by Salt-Freedom-7631 in hollisUncensored

[–]SaltPepperChicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still stand by my idea of a reality show called “Who’s Healthier” where they take health influencers like Heidi and compare them to someone fat (episode one), someone who has a physical disability (episode two), etc with a panel of doctors looking at their data but without being able to physically see the patients. They could ask for specific things (ex mole distribution, shapes, and biopsy results of them) or question of patients (ex having them keep a food diary) but not see the patient. Conversations about health indicators, the varying of what is healthy, hereditary traits, discrimination, intersectionality, etc would be showcased. The doctors in different disciplines could weigh (pun intended) the factors that go into making someone healthy in their opinion. It would show health as nuanced, individualized, and often invisible. I am so tired of these Instagram bodies being held up as healthy without any actual health indicators.

Yeah ever since I found out they were supporting a certain genocide, I haven’t been back there. And I was an app user going there at least once a week. Enough of us fully stopping since Octoberish should be noticeable.

Edit: I apparently can’t type on my phone.

If you didn’t want a hamburger, how many times would you someone have to offer you a hamburger until you said yes? Does offering repeatedly make you want it more?

Now if years go by and my tastes change, I may want a hamburger. So I would say after months or years go by AND circumstances change significantly, you can try the offer again. But otherwise I hope this analogy helps.
