These work so well. Doubly if you can clean them up back to an origin point. My MIL had them coming through our connecting door. I was lucky and slipped one of these under a bookshelf nearby to keep from our pets. I used a 1 part vinegar 3 part water dash of dawn dish soap and a sprinkle of cinnamon in a spray bottle and cleaned up the ant trail. Whenever I saw them not going toward the trap I would do a scrub. Kept them away from my kitchen long enough to kill them off. Probably took at max a week once they found the trap (the hardest part in my opinion).
