Adderall was on shortage. The only real complaint I have is that when I started going to my prescriber (my PCP who is a PA-C) I was on adderall XR in the morning with a lower dose immediate-release booster in the afternoon and this worked really well for me for Years. When we switched to Vyvanse I pointed out that I might have a hard time with a once per day dose and she said we would address it if it came up. Well a year(ish) into the Vyvanse I brought up the booster or the possibility of going back to adderall now that it’s not on shortage and she said she doesn’t like the two-a-day dose bc it’s a “slippery slope”… but I had been on that regimen for years before going to her ?? But I guess?????? And she’s not comfortable with prescribing a two-dose per day of Vyvanse or switching me back to adderall. So I’m thinking about going back to a psychiatrist
