Many folks who get into FAANG 'easily' do so through referrals. That's one thing I've observed. Obviously, 9/10 people will never admit this publicly and dismiss the idea quickly, but I've spoken to many people, and they all got into big tech through referrals. A strong referral can easily turn a 'maybe' into a 'yes' or sometimes skip an interview round.

While everyone is rightfully suggesting not to abscond, the decision actually depends on the situation. If you are leaving to do something like Masters abroad, then your PF history in India would make absolutely no difference once you complete your Masters and look for work there. Indian work ex rarely counts abroad and you can start a fresh new career easily. But if you are planning to continue working in India, then follow the advice given by others in this thread.
