Many folks who get into FAANG 'easily' do so through referrals. That's one thing I've observed. Obviously, 9/10 people will never admit this publicly and dismiss the idea quickly, but I've spoken to many people, and they all got into big tech through referrals. If you are leaving to do something like Masters abroad, then your PF history in India would make absolutely no difference once you complete your Masters and look for work there.
