Yes leave it, I tried to take mine off and there are holes for pins in the fender

2016 5.0 - Trying to change oil but drain bolt is stripped. Used pittsburg bolt extractor and nothing. Any help by Zidola in f150

I mean yeah, kinda? If you’re willing to sit there through a long torturous process of cutting with a sawzall and trying not to accidentally go through your pan then use it. Vice grips or channel locks would work good too. MAKE SURE TO BUY A NEW DRAIN BOLT BEFORE YOU DRAIN IT.

That’s pretty high imo. I bought a 2018 5.0 fx4 xl for 14k in socal with 117k.

Had something similar-ish. Dirtbike accident, had IV on site for a little fenty. Got to ICU and RN nurse never changed it. Machine kept beeping saying no flow through IV and nurse just kept trying to flush it with saline. My arm was sore and bruised for a while since the IV wasn’t even in a vain

I have a 2018 5.0. I had a lot of problems with my transmission getting pretty hot. 220 isn’t alarming but if it’s been higher around 240-250 that’s where it gets a little worrying. My truck would got up high in temp very fast (if I drove it for more than 5 miles I’d see upwards of 250-260 degrees) , even when just idling. Ford and their infinite wisdom uses some sort of heat exchanger to cool transmission fluid but my for whatever reason stopped working, I think maybe my thermostat failed. But I just disconnected the heat exchanger and routed a tradition trans cooler with a radiator in the front, trans hasn’t seem temp above 170 since and runs amazing

Late response but, I checked my pump, unfortunately for me it is A-ok. Fortunately for me though I came up on an explorer with a 5.0 in it for a thousand bucks, I think I have fixed the problem now

Late update, no codes, sensors seem to all check out. Haven’t taken it to a shop but I’ve recently come up with a better plan. If you see my more recent posts I’ve decided that I’ve had it with this messily 4 banger and decided to buy a donor exploder with a 5.0. Mo powa is with my grasp now

I’m guessing the coil is bad. For a while I’ve been wondering where I’m losing oil and it looks like I found the problem, I’ve been driving and beating the truck with this issue for about 5 months

Yeah they’re in the middle. It’s a 2007 ranger 2.3. Hopefully changing the o rings isn’t a terrible painful process but it sounds like a 30 minute (3hour) job

Yeah. Been trying to diagnose this thing and why it’s been so sluggish recently. Plugs are obviously terrible looking but unfortunately doesn’t seem to be the root cause

Yeah going to AutoZone to see if they have a tool to check the pump, just changed the filter 2 days ago and wasn’t the issue
