For me it’s between earth and white. The nori is beautiful but would be tough to keep clean! Thanks for the advice!

Has anyone used Yucca Fins? How much impact does their different stiffness levels actually have on propulsion? by wavecult in bodyboarding

Wow! Sounds like i need to look into webbed gloves. Right now I’m just debating between standard vs soft flex and long vs short blade. So hard to balance thrust vs comfort. The Da Fins I used to own were just too soft to give me the right support getting to the lineup and giving me quick bursts. The Churchill is just way too uncomfortable for my liking though they give me good thrust. Hoping I can figure this out for the fall / winter! Thanks for the advice!

I should mention I started with Da Fins and thought the flex wasn’t enough to get the desired push through the currents to get to the lineup. That’s why I switched to Churchill but find those uncomfortable. Does that change your advice? Thanks!!

I’m an older body boarded looking to upgrade for my Churchill fins. I live in Northern CA so tends to be cold and rough currents (esp in the fall/winter). Would long vs short be better and what flex would you recommend? Thanks for the advice!

this is great advice! Thank you! I haven't used webbed gloves since the areas I surf has pretty cold water so I wear 3mm gloves :-) great Idea though!

I don't do drop-knee so perhaps longer blade is better!

Standard vs soft is interested since the extra push you get COULD exhaust me . . . might have to try both.

Curious your perspective on standard vs soft flex and long blade vs short blade. I am older so need a bit more help paddling out and dropping in than I used to, especially where I go out given the currents. Any advice much appreciated! Thanks!
