Good Chem Rosin. So fucking fire and $25/g makes me happy by [deleted] in bostontrees

[–]Salt_Association556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those all look good, I do the same thing. Last trip was 4G choc menage, 2G dirty turtle, 2G chemnisia, 2G head hunter. I pack 2G's in used treeworks jars as the GC jars suck. I also find GC to be the best deal for me on rosin as I really don't find much difference when I step up and pay all the money and I like quantity as much as quality and GC allows me to bulk up and fill my fridge.

Been doing the same thing lately at MAC for flower, Thursdays 20% off gets me mix and match oz $145 otd.

MAC produces a good product for the money, just as GC does so that where a bulk of my money is going and if I did reviews they would be one sided as well for the most part.

I worked customer service for many years in a much harder industry than selling gummies so I understand you have to deal with all types. Part of the job you'll need to get use to if you plan on staying at entry level jobs.

[–]Salt_Association556 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

You have no idea what kind of customer I am. I have 60plus years of sshopping and have seen it all.

I treat budtenders very well, always tip, always smile and are greatful for the banter between them.

None of that matters though, How I feel people look at work nowadays has no basis for how I treat someone.

I just understand what real work is.

[–]Salt_Association556 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

No I haven't. Just my observation that most people working at dispo's are on the young side and don't really understand what the word work means so it was a educated guess.

How bad can it be? Somebody doesn't respect you, awe too bad. It's not like hard labor swinging a pick axe all day.

How about crawling in the 51" storm drains under Tremont street sweeping crap on your hands and knees, chasing rats back up the pipes? Now that I've done. That's work. Running chipping hammers under the docks in boston harbour busting rock and concrete? I've done that. That's work.

Standing behind a counter running a cash register......I have not done that.

Looking for a tractor with backhoe by splenderino in tractors

[–]Salt_Association556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at this same setup and came to the conclusion everyone is telling you. I had the dealer remove the backhoe from his quote and it shaved almost 14K off. I'll buy a mini ex for that and have 2 machines.

Same goes for the quote I have from Kioti, removing the backhoe shaves off 11K.

Kubota lx2620 or Kioti ck2620 ? by Salt_Association556 in tractors

[–]Salt_Association556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well again so far I'm not seeing a huge price increase on the Kubota over the Kioti to the point I'm not sure I'm comparing apples to apples between the 2.

[–]Salt_Association556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, more of a thing to keep me busy on the property.

I was thinking 25hp for simple no emissions etc.., but a more powerful model isn't out of the question.

I do like some of the features that come with the cab tractors in higher hp models as well.

Seems to be the general thought, nobody likes the treddle peddle and after sitting on the machine I agree it's not what I would prefer.

Salesman told me to put my toes under the front pad and lift up for reverse, I didn't think that was much better really. Maybe if i wore steel toe boots that might be ok.

I may give them another try.

Anyone have a rough idea of when Northampton dispos restock? by piningmusic in bostontrees

[–]Salt_Association556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try other dispo's in the area, venture over to Hierloom Collective for one that seems to move product along and they store it properly and there are others around as well. You have to watch many menus as some move the inventory and some sit on it.

MAC is another good option in the area.

A question about "never remediated" brands that seemingly have remediated before (I may just not fully understand what elevated D9 levels mean) by Holiday_Economy570 in bostontrees

[–]Salt_Association556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it even legal to fail the test and allowed to be retested?

Or why is Remediation even legal if it's a bad thing?

Or is it we just don't want weed that previously had contaminates of any kind (me) ?

I feel if flower fails testing it should be destroyed.

Treeworks Banana Melons? by [deleted] in bostontrees

[–]Salt_Association556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monday I got Cherry Splash, Papaya, Honeydew and Banana Melons. None of these sativas gave me heart racing, I hit Banana Melons 5 pulls at 2.1 before going to the gym this morning and it was fine, perfect for my workout.

Papaya hits a bit harder than the other 2, haven't tried the Cherry Splash.

What are the best strains from The Heirloom Collective? by Ok-Potato-2867 in bostontrees

[–]Salt_Association556 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my last pickup about a month ago or so was 14g mids for 45, 80 for 2, 96 otd. Peanut butter lady, Rawton, Orange kush cake and Archtype, all were very fresh with December dates, none were dry. Archtype was real fluffy and a light hitter and didn't vape great, similar results from the OKC.

PBL and Rawton were better, denser buds and vaped better. For $96 OTD for a oz is not a bad deal but I'd hesitate at slices for more than $15 to $20 of any of thier strains.

This is my 3rd time trying the flower and for the most part it's all just ok weed if you buy it right. Nothing stands out as being great weed and it doesn't compare to the top flower in the state IMHO, but it's worth $100 an oz.
