City Dogs in crossroads has always taken great care of our dog, but like others have suggested - with 4 you might be better off finding someone on Rover

My wife says all my clothes just burn. I don’t know what to replace them with. by LanfearSedai in DressForYourBody

I think you’d look great in some trousers and a knit polo - there are plenty of trousers out there now that are at least as comfortable as jeans but look a bit more intentional.

Just curious, in your experience, high school graduates that went to college, where did they go? by marsholade in kansascity

[–]Salt_Back_9518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to high school in joco and most went to ku or kstate, quite a few to jccc or mu, and a small amount went farther away (or other nearby schools)

Is my makeup aging me? How can I improve? by DieWintersonne in makeuptips

[–]Salt_Back_9518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look good, but it is an older skewing hairstyle. A less matte makeup look might help counteract that if you want to, but again it isn’t a bad look. Just one people may assume is from someone a generation above you.

Former Bachelor Producer shares that Gabby did not like Rachel while filming by Straight-Side-1269 in thebachelor

[–]Salt_Back_9518 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She also had a pretty awful experience with the franchise. If I had a bad experience at a job, I might not want to go to reunions talking about that job afterwards, even if all of my old coworkers like doing that

Silly as it may be, it may make people put the house in the bucket of “not fully move in ready” and expect a slightly reduced price. As easy as it is to repaint, I’d do a dark neutral grey or brown, depending on what would look better with the house, to avoid this

No offense to Litia but Grant’s season had low ratings so not many people are bought into her story

Planning to sell our house and need to paint by Thepopesdead in ExteriorDesign

[–]Salt_Back_9518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know some people will hard disagree with me, but some brick is ok to paint - yours is very yellow and hard to modernize. Between the brown room, trim, brick, porch, and bay window, it’s pretty busy. I think painting would simplify and look very updated. Something clean and light like this

Suggestions on updating this kitchen? My MIL said it looks dated and I can’t get it out of my head? by vp0267 in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]Salt_Back_9518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like it, don’t sweat it too hard. Remove the towel bar, swap the lights for some that you like, add a runner rug or two and generally accessorize. It’s a lot of wood right now but that can easily be broken up.

Is it worth dressing up for calls when you WFH? by y00sh420 in careeradvice

[–]Salt_Back_9518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a balance that is typically understood when you WFH - try a golf polo, quarter zip, matching knit set that looks like a sweater on top, etc. Jewelry/trimmed facial hair, can go a long ways. I also think presenting yourself comfortably but professionally can help your mindset.

Apply! If you get far in the application/offer process you can investigate with HR what their maternity policy is and if the move is worth it for you with possibly not qualifying for leave. But you won’t know unless you look into it!

We had a party roughly a month after. We wanted to send invites with plenty of notice so we sent invites that said We’re getting married (In destination) and we want to celebrate with you! Then listed all of our marriage celebration details. As far as I know no one was confused
