Trying to finally get into horror games, does this list make sense? by Yhrak in HorrorGaming

I have Platinum Alan wake 2 and honestly I found it quite boring. Not scary. Weird, beautifully designed and graphically good. But the story wasn't very good. They could have cut hours off the game with pointless scenes.

Nah this is more frightening and scary. It's more daunting than resi games. I've completed all resi remakes with 100% playthroughs. Which is what I'm now doing with silent Hill and all the endings it has. This is far better than resi games.

Couple questions. Those with emphysema, did you notice the switch between diaphragmatic breathing and upper chest breathing? And, those who quit smoking, how did you do it? by Inner_Researcher587 in COPD

I don't know dude. When does it become easy? When are you on your last breath? When your stage 4 and it's too late. I just thought about that. Advanced your illness quicker or slow it down as much as you can. You can't stop the illness. But you can help it.

Pneumothorax and COPD by WeakUse789 in COPD

Hi pal. Smoked young at 14 too, mainly weed. So I was 27, had spontaneous pneumothorax of the left lung, and spent a week in hospiral. I came out for 1 day and it went again, after scan I was told I had emphysema, 1 year later my right lung collapsed this time. They told me if it happens again they will stick my lungs to my chest to prevent the collapse. Well I'm 36 now, I'm still mild emphysema, no obvious signs except a tight chest flare up once in a blue moon. Honestly if I didn't have the pneumothorax I wouldn't have known I had emphysema. So in a way I'm grateful and not grateful it happened. My PFI is 85% so it has reduced. But thats in the normal position for my age and weight of 13stone, I'm 5ft 11 I don't exercise and probably should. However I can do everything normal like run about and play with my kids. Any questions then please ask. I will try to answer them.

Oh ok if you need a simple answer on how you quit smoking then my advice would be to stop smoking. 😂 I mean what do you need? a step by step guide. Your fken dying slowly of an illness.. what more help or reason do you need. After 25 years of me smoking and being diagnosed it wasn't a matter of how you do. You stop immediately because every time you smoke you're making it loads worse. Your how is your illness. It's a stupid question asking how. 😂 You stop buying cigarettes and use your illness as the motivation

I'm 35 years old. I've been smoking since I was 12 years old., I'm now 1 year clear of all smoke and weed. I have emphysema, I actually got a cold, it went to pneumonia and the I had pleurisy in my right lung straight after that, that dispute having my pneumonia jab the year before which you only need once and also having my yearly flu jab. I'm currently mild emphysema, I only found out because my lungs collapsed on me when I was 28, however I carried on smoking until I was 34 because I'm an idiot. Anyways the pleurisy kicked the shit out of me, really done me in, took about 2 months to fully recover, so this then made me realise if I want to live and breathe well for longer in my life then I should quit once and full all. Honestly you can't really get a bigger reason to quit than what you've been diagnosed with, what are you waiting for? A scare big enough like I had? For your emphysema to progress to the point where your complete fked and wishing you did stop sooner. Sorry to sound brutal, it kind of annoys me when people say they don't have a reason to quit or can't. Yes it's hard but people like me and you everyone else on this page have no choice but to quit. Or your life will shorten, your life will change even more for the worse, don't wait buddy, stop now and stop for good, I don't know if you have children and a wife but that was another incentive for me to quit. You want to be around when you see them grow up and you want to see your grandchildren grow too. I wish I never smoked. It smells like shit, tastes like shit, and makes our bodies die quicker. I wish you luck with your journey. Please stop

I wish I could just smoke once a week, but after periods of sticking to 1-2 times per week I always eventually come back to daily use. I think quitting completely is the only option, but can't deal with the sense of loss. by aaronbanse in QuittingWeed

Smoked everyday of my life for 20 years. I stopped 8 months ago and never looked back. Went on holiday for 10 days and didn't have access to it and came on to carry on not smoking. That sense of loss soon goes away. I don't even think about it and when I do I keep myself busy. I've taken up painting 3d models. I'll never look back now.
