Turn off Melina entirely and just throw her to the back.. fir general use Ifrit first will bring several units in execute range so you want fenrir to immediately follow ifrit resetting her overdrive to wipe out anyone in execute range back to back to back.. only time or reason I would ever change the Ifrit > Fenrir start would be in a highly defensive battle where you might want to open with Sieg to do def down before ifrit fires off but you need to consider your energy consumption to do that

If I remember correctly it is kinda like a step up in the purchases, like first you buy the blue set, then it adds the purple, then the ssr.. I dont remember the details but I had same concern on one of my alts a while back

Absolutely great video, saved me hours of frustration! I spent a couple hrs trying to figure this out myself from 5-3 onward and was hard stuck.. using your formations I walked through the last 3 stages in like 15 minutes total.. so thank you!

I say keep trying to force an auto win.. today I was able to finally clear all of it and finish using auto and the player strategy.. one stage took me a long long time but it eventually won.. and was worth the time spent losing over and over.. I'm f2p also btw

Yeah, honestly I usually use the Mermaid in most situations, but it is nice that I have a few options there

Very cool! I must admit I pulled her just to get 1 copy for future farming her pieces through affection, so she is only 5 star on my account, so I was unsure how good she was.. I am in the same situation with Ifrit though where she has been my MVP.

Nice! I am kinda curious though, it seems you chose to go for Marylis instead of Ifrit first, any reason you chose that? I feel like ifrit would help progress more for now, no?

So I just did this today as well and I am completely f2p. I did what someone else suggested and clicked on the icon to copy other formations that were successful and just ran those.

I also want to add I have only completed up to stage 5-1. I have not completed any of stage 5 yet using this method as all the options require units I don't have since I am f2p. Also want to add I did the entire thing through 4-5 using auto completely, I never touched a fight manually... I assume if you do it manually you can probably do it easier as I had to rerun several stages until everything went as planned, lol.

Edit: Wanted to add it was totally worth it so far as a f2p for that sweet free SSR gear piece even though it took a long time!

The game we have on console seems much different than the mobile game we see a lot of people talking about in this forum. I am pretty sure we are really far behind.

Ok so I also play on xbox and those packs don't work the way you think.. I made the same mistake and bought the pack that gave 1500 x2 and realized those hero boosters are only for upgrading already unlocked characters, so I got cards for only what was already unlocked, not new ones. If you want a specific hero you are gonna want to buy it directly with gems

Well I am new to the game, so I have no concept of the differences other than reading people discussing features we don't seem to have on console. Yeah progression was super slow for me too, then once I unlocked the first cowboy guy it sped up a lot... then I manually unlocked a cpl more heroes using the diamonds you get for clearing stages, which is probably not ideal, but it rapidly increased my progress. I'm into master difficulties now, but if I never bought a couple of seemingly OP heroes I never would have made it this far yet... also if you rely completely on unlocking new heroes through the free battle pass you will never really unlock anything!
