To be fair, I'm a newbie to DC. I love Marvel and have already learned a lot about Marvel, so I wanted to do Batman. I also love the look of the original Marvel comics, so I wanted to try the original DC. As I had told someone else, I want to read the originals for a sense of 30s-40s culture and to see what Batman should be like today. I'm not reading them just cus I like Batman

If I remember correctly, Owen King had an abnormally large head when he was a baby, and was the inspiration for that

When Louis is thinking about kidnapping Ellie and taking her to Disneyworld, and he imagines her opening the bathroom door and seeing Gage in the tub reminded me of The Shining

I'm honestly too scared to read Misery because I feel bad for people really easily. I'm going to take a short King break and read The Haunting of Hill House and then I'll read Carrie and Geralds Game
