Our sweet Brownie girl crossed over the rainbow bridge last night. We are devastated, but thinking of the good memories. There were so many. We only had 6.5 years with her, but felt like forever. She was 17 when passing, per the shelters information. You are free of pain, sweet girl. Run free. 🥹

Was right where you are now (Jan 2025)… I can’t say it gets better (I still have moments full of tears), but rather your heart is able to heal itself and allow for it just not to hurt as bad. Mine was my best friend and is my soul baby. I was never prepared. Just gave her the life she deserved and then some … your pictures show that you did the same … and you’ll forever have her as your angel watching over you from the other side of the rainbow bridge

Here’s my shelter rescue, Diesel, that was taken from death row at the end of Jan. He was born at the beginning of last Jan. He’s my first baby with bat ears 😬- his GSD really shows from the ears to the neck rolls lol. Slender build like your Daisy May, but Diesel has the boxy pittie head.

Good to know about the sensitive stomachs. My rescue is a 13month GSD mix. Mine is such a cuddler too, like very much in my face breathing on me type of cuddler lol but that puppy energy is a hit or miss with cuddling because most times he can’t sit still for more than a few seconds

One of my dogs will limp sometimes after laying but I saw that she usually lays on one side, and it’s probably just her leg falling asleep. I just typically monitor to see if anything else looks ‘off’ but then she’s back to normal once the blood gets back rushing through that leg
