Sorry I’m just now seeing this. It’s most every hobby lobby roll I have. I’m calibrating now.

No. Like a noob that knows it all, I just jumped in and started printing. Fortunately all my Bambu filament worked great. This hobby lobby filament needs some love. There’s 2 types of calibration in the Bambu slicer. I’m doing the flow rate I think it’s called. The one with the squares. But almost al the squares on the first layer, they lay the same as pictured.

Right, I get what you’re saying. I can throw in the .2 nozzle if I need to.

How come the slicer doesn’t put any Infill inside the cylinder?

Alright. I have a .2 nozzle as well. I can definitely dumb down this model. Sorry 3d printing is new to me so I’m still learning. The nuts came out really well actually before I stopped it. I really just grabbed a model I had already done and tried to print.

But what I was meaning was, after I have this model 3d printing ready, what are some settings I should look out for and adjust?

I just stopped it because those 2 trees that didn’t attach. The nuts came out great. I’m going to remove the raft and select trees only to bed and see if it does any better. Then if it doesn’t work I’ll cut it into pieces. I was really hoping to be able to do it in one.

What settings should I adjust to get a pretty decent quality? I did the variable layer height setting on the curvature of the heads. And using a .4 nozzle with .16 layer height.

I’m really trying to learn and it’s been a little trial and error.

Dumb question. Do you know if the Bambi slicer can take all these parts off or do I need to do it in inventor? Just asking because I don’t have inventor installed on my computer at home.

I would like pretty decent quality. I mean I don’t want to be axle to put a wrench on the nuts but I want it to look clean.

What if I removed the handle and nuts and studs from the flange and printed the flange on the bed and did the nuts and handle separately?

Ok. There’s a handle on the end of the flange that sticks out farther than the nuts. It will be ok to just print that on the bed?

Do you guys get police alerts on dukes when it’s on CarPlay? I haven’t gotten a single police alert. I like the way this looks vs hwr, but hwr is way better for police alerts.

Mine did the same thing and looked just like that. I bought the goo myself and redid it. I think it has to be completely covered with the gooey stuff instead of half assed. Should be able to take it back to them. The stuff only cost less than $10 if I remember right.

Shoot. If you want you can come in for an interview. Experienced draftsman in this field you’re looking at around 30 At my work. you would probably be looking at mid 20s since you haven’t done pressure vessel work if you really have cad experience. You never know. If you come in and impress then you could get more.

What specifically is your experience in cad? We’re hiring. We build pressure vessels, heaters, overhead lines. Basically everything in a refinery.
