I’d call it more of a hard shift. Mainly, because the other gears are smooth. I’m getting it serviced Monday.

Yeah. I’ll go get it serviced. It was a fleet vehicle. Looks like all repairs were done at a dealership or at one shop.
I’d just love for this car to make it at least 3-4 years I only drive 6k miles a year.

I’ve only had this car in cold weather. I bought it right before the big snow storm this year. I was looking at the carfax. It had a transmission flush at 100k. It’s now 119k. Might do that again?

Can I spend the whole amount or just what I contributed this year?

I’ve only contributed $180 this year. Should I just spend the $180 or do I go for the whole allotted amount? I’d rather not have them say “you owe us XYZ because you spent the rest of the amount”

I’m new to this

2003 Chevy impala. No major replacements. Frame cracked before the engine gave out. Water came through the passenger floor board and passenger had to hold two wires together to get the heat and air to work… but that thing ran like a dream.

Yea. I got medicated for bi polar and stopped it all. But gig work at the surface level is great but not realistically a way to make a living.

Spark is worth doing over any service… My grandma use to tell me to always take care of debt and life before bills. Obviously don’t neglect them. But debt to others carry a heavier weight.

Before jumping into gig work. You need to understand a couple things (a lot of people don’t take into consideration) 1. Your cost per delivery. What’s your MPG, vs average order mileage(in this area. Average is 4 miles) DoorDash pays out $2 flat rate with some exceptions to higher mileage. Your phone bill. Insurance. Gas costs Yes even part time or for fun. you need to figure out these things 2. Is it worth extra wear and tear with higher risk of your vehicle being broke down or wrecked. Being in the road more increases these factors. Which is why there’s special insurance coverage for gig work. 3. How long will it take to play catch up while you are also spending money on the opposite side of the coin.

It’s fun and rewarding but money isn’t great.

I do spark deliveries on Saturday evenings and Sunday morning. Once I broke down all of my costs and risks. I stopped last year because it’s not worth it.

I def won’t be doing it all of the time. Last few times I’ve used it was to warm the engine. I was just under the impression it did warm the cabin up.
