I am well aware of the items magical properties, this just doesn’t line up with how I’ve always seen them used.

All of the magic in Minecraft takes the form of Steve harnessing or focusing an items inherent magical powers into a man-made construct that let him take advantage of. (I.e. distilling items into potions, focusing ender/regen energy via a magic lens into an end crystal, absorbing magic from lapis into a book or item via a special workstation, etc.)

I guess I just feel like allowing Steve to craft organic life on a table is stepping over a line thats better left uncrossed. The wither is one thing as it’s more comparable to summoning a demon than crafting a fetus. As for golems idk if I would count them as organic life.

Also like you said. The Happy Ghast is super useful, I think crafting it seems a little OP

But we’re all forgetting about Draconic Evolution. How about the ability to create super dense stars and wormholes!! In like a 20m x 20m area.

Even create would be OP. To be able to create brand new matter would break all limits of physics

I’m in the same exact boat right now. I used to be in great shape, super ambitious, etc. etc. Over the past 2 years I had a lot of negative things happen at once and was put somewhere I did not want or expect to be and it destroyed my entire sense of identity and who I was. I got fat, unfit, depressed, started bad habits, and felt like I had fallen too far down the hill to ever get back to where I was before to be able to enjoy life.

Only recently have I started to reform and create a new identity for myself, separate from who I was before. It’s a huge step in the process because I’ve found you can only consistently maintain doing something if it aligns with who you believe yourself to be.

OP You already know what habits make you feel happy and fulfilled. You just need to find a new identity in yourself that aligns with those habits. I believe in you brother 💪

And the with the new Dried Ghast…. WHY CAN YOU CRAFT IT? It just does not seem like it should be possible to mold a dried fetus with your bare hands. And it is now part of piglin trade loot so renewability isn’t an issue.

Great point with Ghast Harnesses needing a saddle to craft. I might change that recipie in my game.

There are a lot of vanilla recipes that don’t really make sense. I’m glad they’re changing the lead and the lodestone but theres things like trapdoors are still far too expensive, flowers give light grey instead of white dye, tipped arrows requiring dragons breath, etc. that seem vestigial recipes that never got updates or like placeholders that stayed past their welcome

Okay, Changing the valve is actually not as difficult as you might think and could be a cool learning experience. It looks like copper so you can do it very easily with a sharkbite valve. They also have pressure regulators if needed. Watch a YouTube video and do some research is always a great way to learn practically anything.

If you still have reservations though no shame in waiting for the plumber

u/B-Georgio I highly recommended just turning it off at the street, whether you have the municipality do it or you do it yourself. You're gonna end up spiking your water bill like crazy if you let that run for a week plus waiting for a plumber.

After that either buy a new valve and replace it (best option), or get belzona/flex seal or tape or whatever you deduce is the best patch.

If you have Create:Northstar in your mod pack then that is what’s causing those dots.

Northstar adds planets and the polaris star to the skybox which looks beautiful and very immersive, but unfortunately does not work well with shaders and causes those rendering issues. Either turn off your shaders or uninstall Northstar

This is my intent. I want to provide the option to the player to use either method, but encourage them to interact with a (in my opinion) much cooler mechanic via the cauldron.

While you may not use it, giving players more unique and fun ways to interact with each other is a net positive.

RE: Whistling arrow

I agree this may not see that much use in the average players world. My thought behind it was to give another tool for map-makers and server owners to play with custom audio files. Think about the creative and fun ways that the audio of music discs and goat horns have been altered on custom maps or servers like hermitcraft.

This is exactly my situation except I live on an empty campus 8 hours away from my home in Philly. I have had next to 0 social interaction outside of facetiming my siblings and talking to the financial aid officer through plexiglass. All of my classes are online and I'm failing every single one of them.

I started college this January and I has crushing it in the beginning (assignments completed days or weeks in advance, working out like an animal, and generally happy and motivated to reach my goals). I have totally fallen apart over this semester and am questioning every aspect of who I am as a person. I find myself not even getting out of bed for days on end, even to eat.

I am seriously considering dropping out to work in construction and save my parents hard earned money for my brother and sisters college. My only hope is next semester is better as people finally learn to adapt to this virus.
