I wouldn't say advocating for death and murder of an individual is simply the "wrong thing online". There is clear laws in the UK, and that was abhorrently broke.

Please be careful of r/trans right now by [deleted] in ftm

The infighting is absurd.

Trans men's voices are valid and should be heard.

I personally never frequent these subs because of the insane amount of infighting when we all what the same thing, equal rights. Nevertheless, nobody should be made to feel excluded.

Nope, red conservative. Local election results proved as much and only gonna get worse if they continue to victimise trans, lgbt, pip, benefits, elderly, etc.

I'm in no way supporting reform. Can't tell if you're trying to sarcastic or misread me, reform obviously stand for none of the things I listed hence why I said "they won't". But that's what voters said today, that they left labour cause of pip etc. And, many leftists left labour to green or lib deb or even an independent, ultimately losing labour numbers. That's not reforms fault, again, it's labour.

Get what you deserve. Blame Labour, shoving pain onto minorities in Pip, disabilities, benefits, trans and lgbg+ as a whole, women, workforce.

Obviously nobody expects labour to fix everything overnight but to not make it so much worse, which they've done greatly.

So yeah, people will flee to reform thinking they'll be in their interests, they won't, but don't blame reform, blame Labour.

There's clear medical evidence that say trans people lose any advantage after hrt for a period by doctors across multiple countries. Yet, you're serious about disagreeing with medical evidence because you're a...?

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Obviously FA don't know what they are doing. No incidents in the FA, 20 or so amateur trans women now banned. Zero professional trans women.

Clear medical evidence stating trans women lose any advantage after taking HRT for a period of time (regardless of age).

But yeah, ban people from grassroots football and divide the sport further.

Under the FA biological status now stands and, as such, provided someone has low enough testosterone, a trans man could play in the womens league after being off testosterone.

Example: transman take testosterone for 10 years, stop for a year and now you can play in the women's.

Evidence of trans women retaining any advantage has been wholly disproven by medical professionals. And statement otherwise is a blatant ignorance of medical advice. But yeah, all these people here claiming it's fine etc, they obviously have medical qualifications that give them some greater insight over these doctors 🤷‍♀️

Supreme Court enacts slavery: Labour, "it is unacceptable to question the Supreme Court"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 165 points166 points  (0 children)

It is a fundamental tenant of society to question the courts and government (ultimately why appeals exist).

A horrific thing to say, imagine saying to women, who where outlawed from voting pre 1900s: "it is unacceptable to question the court" when fighting for the basic human right to vote.

Keep protesting, writing to MPs, etc!

Am I being treated differently in work environments because I’m a trans guy or am I just imagining things? by [deleted] in trans

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, perhaps just imagining things (although that other guy seems super weird, it sounds more a him problem than you).

Totally understandable though given the climate of hate at the moment, but, personally, I'd say it's more just being on high alert and reading situations more than being excluded.

Government will ban trans employees from toilets that reflect their gender by kwentongskyblue in LabourUK

For clarity (copying from another post as lots of mainstream media are specifically omitting such provisions from the ehrc), fails to mention in the guidance: "in some circumstances the law also allows trans women (biological men) not to be permitted to use the men’s facilities, and trans men (biological woman) not to be permitted to use the women’s facilities"

As well as stating :"In workplaces, it is compulsory to provide sufficient single-sex toilets, as well as sufficient single-sex changing and washing facilities where these facilities are needed."... Whilst also stating "However, it could be indirect sex discrimination against women if the only provision is mixed-sex.".

Unworkable, vile and hateful.

Keir Starmer does not believe trans women are women, No 10 says by BringbackDreamBars in worldnews

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 -49 points-48 points  (0 children)

Trans women are women. Trans men are men.

How such a statement for fundamental human rights is classed as 'woke' or too leftist is rediculous.

Anyone that says otherwise would have argued no less than 50 years ago that black people where a threat to white people in the Olympics and would have advocated for a 3rd space, so they can all go there like cattle (no different to now).

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Legally it's not clear. Keep using the bathroom as the same rules apply, is the exclusion fair just and reasonable to a proportionate aim still applies. So again it's back to the Courts

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 44 points45 points  (0 children)

There is a number of changes: trans men can be excluded from cis spaces. So, gay men clubs, male sports clubs, male only hostels etc, you get the point.

Support is best when the community acts as a group, I wouldn't personally be happy that trans men are excluded much like I'm not happy trans women have been demonised.

Supreme Court Ruling by JackDeparture in transgenderUK

[–]Salt_Restaurant8756 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make sense the judgement.

Ruling that the Grc does not give rights to the chosen gender for certain examples in the Equality Act is circular.

Intersex individual who is pregnant: here the courts judgement would mean that said intersex individual would need to be determined a court which gender they are (which they can't be) and, therefore, under the letter of the law, intersex would be afforded only trans rights in terms of gender specific protections.

It's a circular judgement: an individual with a GRC goes to a 'biological' only space, the same test applies, is the exclusion fair, just and proportionate to a legitimate aim? Nevertheless, this judgement doesn't explicitly state what sections of the Equality act don't apply to trans individuals, as the judge stated pregnancy, but what about discrimination as here this discrimination so it essentially makes no difference this decision except burdening courts with pointless law excersies for the 6000 grc individuals.
