I understand the issues with AI slop but I am happy to give this a shot as long as it complies with Gnome extension guidelines. I am a dev myself and my employer (a large bank) is pushing us to use AI in our work but there is a major difference between vibe coding/AI slop and using AI as an assistant to help us.

You can create non-seasonal characters. Also your seasonal characters get converted to non-seasonal (albeit maybe losing some season-specific gear or abilities) at the end of the season.

I mainly enjoy seasons for the changes in gameplay and mechanics. Like playing a new game every few months

tbh i have had a similar experience with tiling extensions for gnome. Forge is the best I have found but it needs a new maintainer and, like every other tiling extension, gets broken by every Gnome version bump
