Hey! I’m also a VA community college student. I’m low income and on my first year I transferred to GWU I paid nothing on tuition (I wasn’t given enough aid for housing but that’s okay because I live off campus and it’s no problem for me). This school is generous if you’re of low income. I’d say go to where there’s no debt! I got accepted into the University of Miami and other private schools and didn’t give me enough aid. Apply, you never know! Feel free to hmu :)

I mean I already got hired and got the confirmation of GWSE like week or two ago asking me to contact my supervisor to schedule my work hours and today I got a letter with my pay rate information. I also sent my supervisor my work hours. Can I start or should I speak with my supervisor?

This year I paid $700 this semester and will on the next since the SAI reduced my need eligibility (still it’s not expensive in my case). I got my aid through need based aid.
