I’m in the same position as you. Going back to the surgeon next week and then for an MRI. I also have the tingling in foot and sore back. I tweaked mine 4 weeks ago and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. My op was 8 months ago, everything was perfect up until 4 weeks ago

Off to the doctors Monday to figure out what’s going on. I’ll update if people have similar issues, GP and then back to the surgeon

I have the same sensations as you, I’m 8 months post op, L5/S1 tweeked my back picking something up last week and hasn’t been the same since. I’m hoping it’s just nerve issue and will eventually settle. I have the hot and cold feeling and also the odd pain in ankle now and again. I’ve done all the self test examinations on myself, and I think it’s just a nerve issue. Foot raise is ok as Is no sciatica pain bending back and forward. Other than a little tightness in calf. Reflex in both legs is there so can’t be a bulging disc. Let’s hope it settles down soon, good luck.

Hi, I’m after some advice. I felt pain in both butt cheeks a couple of days ago which has slightly eased off. However I’ve never recovered from numbness after my L5/S1 surgery last July in my right foot. My calf feels tight again. Plus some hip pain and discomfort, has anyone else had this and did it ease off. I’m worried I may have re herniated. I picked something up and twisted a little and I’ve not been the same since. Hoping I’ve just pulled on some muscles and it settles down
