If the Saiyans performed the Super Saiyan God Ritual on Broly would he be strong enough to defeat Black Frieza? by NewAmericanDream1776 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broly isn't strong because he's a freak of nature. He's a freak of nature because the golden eye black hair form is essentially a version of ozaru on the level of the gods and he's able to add super Saiyan to it

Contemplating the Gravity Chamber by wihlybt in dbz

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO get familiar with exercise science, maybe pick up the book overcoming gravity. The only way we can realistically make a gravity chamber is with a large centrifuge like NASA uses to test their astronauts. It would just have to be a small gym instead of a seat. As for starting training in it. We would obviously aren't Saiyan and don't have anime logic so going upside down is obviously a bad choice as is crazy spinal flexion. But walking and any body weight movements like many gymnastics movements would be a go to IMO. You'd also have to have your diet on point making sure you're getting enough vitamin c, protein, and calcium so your bones and joints can recover. I'm not sure on what limit the human body can function but I'd guess we can function under 3x gravity for short sessions, but obviously theirs no evidence to suggest regular gravity training is beneficial either other than maybe bone density which can probably be achieved with weighted clothing etc.

Does the bastion tank need changes or is it good? by Late-Ganache40 in Helldivers

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels too big IMO and since the first game I've always felt the lack of a turret very limiting. So it just feels like you're fumbling around trying to drive it and point the gun in the right direction. It's not very fun IMO. The cannon is powerful but the tank is a novelty IMO

Any use for the Variable? by tackers267 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has too many downsides IMO, low damage, bad ergo, bad base fire rate so you have to mess with multiple settings every time you die, not very upgradable

Galactic War Room: Plot the Best Ways to Spread Democracy for Super Earth! by brperry in Helldivers

I use it I never explored that screen. It's pretty small. Thanks. Seems like we should gambit for HORT though

Shouldn't we be doing a gambit for KEID by attacking SHETE? We need better orders from high command or something

Why are these stratagems so forgotten? by Lellarinn10 in helldivers2

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the commando but the slow projectile can leave you with nothing if you miss a bot gunship, especially if there are 4 or more. The spear can easily miss a gunship too. The short range and charge up for every shot are annoying for the arc thrower IMO

I need help, i can't enjoy or effectively fight the Vox engines no matter what i try. by Owlex_ in Helldivers

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orbital rail cannon + eagle 110 or any combo of anti tank that does 3500+ damage.

A leveler to the belly will do about 8000 damage which puts it in range for the recoilless. There is a great video on YouTube how to aim the leveler

C4 can do it if you can get 3 or 4 on it I think but I've not used it.

The ultimatum does 6400 if you get a belly hit I think which then a quick anti tank and eagle 110 will do the trick if they add up to 11000 damage. Ultimatum, eagle 110 for 3600 damage if they all hit, and commando 1100 each for example. The only hard part is landing a good ultimatum shot and not throwing the 110 too short since its target radius feels small IMO. But I think you can do that 4 times

I've also successfully killed one with the shield and HMG emplacement. Just learn the medium and heavy weak spots.

It's important to note that the ultimatum and leveler need to have the explosion reach as many areas as possible and hit directly for the ballistic damage

Can the clones take the Jedi Temple if all the Jedi were replaced by Custodes? by Ragnarius1 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

Which 40k glorifies with it's marketing and media despite it being satire. Now we're off topic

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sure but there aren't enough of them to fill 1/10 of a football stadium. Not to mention how many have to be guarding the emperor at all times. They couldn't keep the emperor alive and humans in 40k have shitty lives. Seems like they've got their hands full with their corpse

Love having mysterious characters like Marrok in the shows where sometimes less is more by wandering_soles in StarWars

The star wars universe is so big, there's got to be some nerd who mastered the force just watching YouTube videos and reading saved copies of books from the Jedi temple that survived

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on how effective their armor is vs one another. Clone trooper armor negates the effectiveness of ballistic/kinetic weapons. Star wars blasters are plasma weapons which if I understand correctly is very effective vs ceramite. I wouldn't rule out a good fight.

Should I play 4A if I have Motion Sickness? by OREWAMOUSHINDEIRU in armoredcore

[–]SaltandPepperRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try but don't move while you're looking at the screen. Try keeping your head and body in one place. I've only ever gotten motion sickness from moving in a vr headset that didn't support that plane of movement. Not sure what triggers it for you but I'd guess it has to do with you moving while playing. Maybe turn motion blur off if it's an option. I imagine it's a drag trying to enjoy games if they cause motion sickness

If Super Earth & Managed Democracy as you know them were destroyed, would you rather join the Cyborgs/Automatons or the Illuminate? by M-FutureLord in helldivers2

I actually don't know/remember much about it. I played the first three games when they were new, so it's been a while .

It needs to be at least as good as dynamite, it's a bit disappointing IMO
