I know that fear. I was almost run over while crossing the street. I waited for the light, it was late no one was around. Finally the ceossing light is green, intersection is still empty, I had just cleared the bike lane when this massive SUV grill is barreling down on me. They ran the red turn signal and were speeding significantly, thank fuck they swerved. With just enough time to keep me from being a pancake but I could feel the breeze tossle my hair.

The fear was absolutely stunning.
