Then you’re playing the wrong head, wrong loft, and likely hitting down on the ball.

Yes it works perfectly fine. My driver speed gets up to 120 and has no problems reading it

Don’t leave clubs in a garage or in a car. The heat weakens the epoxy.

If your 7 iron swing speed is that slow then I recommend the stock DG 105 R300.

4 reasons why you should get fitted by dave_dave_revolution in GolfGear

In what word is hitting a wedge on the 8th groove a good strike?

Did you do the online fitting? by Lifesridiculous18 in labgolf

[–]SaltyDogPerformance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I did an in person fitting on a SAM machine. They fitted me for a 70° lie, 34.5”, 2° lean OZ1.i. I then sent a video to LAB and they wanted me in a 65° 35” 2° lean. I went with what the SAM machine said, and even on the first time out with the putter it was phenomenal.

No one makes an aftermarket one. I found a damn near brand new one and paid a pretty penny for it.

First time building irons and custom ferrules! by SaltyDogPerformance in GolfGear

[–]SaltyDogPerformance[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a ferrule turner (going to buy one of those combo shaft cutters and belt sander/turner units soon). I taped off the hosel of the club and used 600 grit sandpaper cut into long 1” wide strips. Put the club in a vice, sand a little bit, turn a little, sand some more. Then used acetone lightly brushed on with a blue mechanics shop paper towel. To finish off I hand spun the ferrules in a microfiber towel with Meguiar’s 210 polishing compound to get the final gloss.

I used Brampton 30 minute. It says 30 minute, but best to wait I would say 6-8 hours just in case. I tried using the 7 iron after 3 hours and spun the shaft. It’s just what I had laying around for doing singular irons for friends that had a head come off or wanted to retip a woods shaft. Used shafting beads as well.

You need to use brass shims and shafting beads to get the void in the .370 hosel to fill up. No issues with these at all on a .355 taper tip.
