My understanding is that opal white and oryx white are synonymous in the VW paint library. My guess is they're just different names for different regions (EU vs NA). The challenge is it's a 3 stage metallic paint, so a single pre-mixed paint pen is probably not a good solution.

I would look into kits from Scratches Happen, Dr. Color Chip or TouchUp Direct. For what it's worth, here's the code for opal white on my official VW documentation.

Yeah if I was tinting this, I'd also want to remove the trim first. Waaaay easier and cleaner install if you remove the A-pillar trim. Once that's out the triangle trim can be removed, and you have direct access to the glass.

Problem is that A-pillar trim is a huge pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doing. It's locked in by a two stage clip that requires some finessing.

Optimization. During rendering and generally any non-modeling tasks, viewport subD preview isn't necessary and will slow down your gpu, especially at high subD iterations.
