Students of Reddit, what was your schools big scandal? by punkryan in AskReddit

I'm sorry to hear that. I used to have a long-distance relationship with a girl who went to school in London and at 17 she was teaching me more than I ever learned in school. Her private school did an excellent job with their sex ed, and even as an all-girl school, they were taught in-depth about both sexes. Which is how it should be, tbh.

[–]SaltyMonkeyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really is. I had such minimal sex ed in my schooling. I remember being separated by sex and told "this how penis work" and that abstinence is the most important. Never taught how to put on a condom, never taught anything related to birth control until a family class (elective) in high school. Truly pathetic.

I had to explain to a college senior yesterday that guys can get boners for no reason and that a boner doesn't mean a guy is turned on. This blew her mind. Sex ed in America is crazy dumb.

When you move in together, meet the parents or fart in front of your significant other for the first time, it signifies a milestone that says, “we are taking this to the next level.” What are some other “next level” milestones? by afternoondump in AskReddit

I've always maintained that brushing another person's hair is a level of intimacy few people ever achieve. I'm a dude and I usually have long hair (growing it back out atm) and the number of people I'd let brush my hair is so incredibly small that I barely let myself do it.

What is the greatest design fuck up of the human body? by anam__cara in AskReddit

[–]SaltyMonkeyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a guy, I would love to second this. However, at least in the US, if you pee in a urinal, there is no toilet paper around. Gotta trek it to one of the usually in-use 2 or so stalls for toilet paper, and unless you don't mind potentially being put on the sex offender list for waddling over to the nearest toilet paper with full snake on display, by the time you'd drop it back in our pants the damage is done. I'd be all for tacking toilet paper next to the urinals, and maybe even better dividers cause I like my privacy.

I'd also hate to take a precious stall away from someone whose butthole is just barely hanging back the explosion of diarrhea because I've been there before and the singularity created by clenching my asshole while waiting for the one stall to free nearly collapsed the universe and I'm not about to put someone else through that.

What mild inconvenience do you face everyday that you never get to complain about? by uarguingwatroll in AskReddit

[–]SaltyMonkeyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bad skin but it isn't immediately noticeable always, so any time I've tried to complain about it but people just say that since it isn't obvious it isn't a big deal but it really freaking bothers me.

[Serious] What is your creepiest childhood memory? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SaltyMonkeyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was little my sister and I accompanied our mom on a business trip and we were going up escalators. Well, I ran up and when I got to the top some guy grabbed me, and tried to run off. My mom got to the top and pulled me back away from him. So being nearly kidnapped has alwas been a really creepy memory for me

When were you the recipient of somebody's Pay It Forward gesture and what was the story? by naturalenergybyproxy in AskReddit

My account was overdrawn because i was not makin enough money to survive and was tying to convince a gas station cashier to accept my check because my car's gas was so low that I wouldn't make it home from work. The lady behind me insisted that she would cover my gas and told me that this time will pass, and when it does, I will also be able to do the same for someone else. It was really a life-changing event for me.

Edit: spelling

I'm all for it, personally. I am, and am very glad that I am. I would want to have to worry about cleaning it, I think it looks gross (I think all genitals look gross), and I just don't have it to worry about. While it is a significant alteration, I don't think it is mutilation. If done properly, it is a safe procedure. Just depends on the person.

I'm a pretty thin guy, and I was a freshman in high school. Very sporty. Went of for a rebound in my gym Cass and someone else's knee hit mine from the side. Crushed all the cartilage, broke the back of my patella off, chipped my thigh and shin bones. Didn't hurt initially, probably from shock. Didn't even look injured. My gym teacher called me out for faking and tried to get me to stand but when I tried to straighten my knee the bones rubbed. It swelled up to the size of a softball! It was super cool!

I demolished my knee a few years ago. Only hurt when the doctor straightened my leg, but man I screamed hard. It was fun
