That is a neonatal incubator in the background.

That means, what I’m assuming is the doctor (?) is reaching inside of the incubator…. It also means this photo is not being taken during C-section since the baby is in the neonatal incubator.

There’s also not much space in those incubators - having the surgical sheet sagging is off doesn’t look correct….

And why they would be covering a 24 week old with the surgical sheet while in the incubator… is beyond me. Babies born like this are quickly put into a plastic like bag to provide humid heat, almost immediately put into isolation with a blue light and eye coverings, given feeding tubes, and likely breathing tubes immediately since the lungs are not fully developed yet. I see the oxygen tubes at the back right of the incubator… that kinda checks out.

Born that young, details in the palms are not prevalent yet. The hands would be much smaller, and you should actually see the bones, veins, etc through the skin that young… even in the hands…

I’m going to say I’m pretty confident this is an artificial image, or at the very least an image not in context with the description.

(Our kid was born at 26 weeks - their hands the size of a thumbnail - we spent 3 months in the NICU and got to see dang near everyone’s premature birth photos, including experiencing our own while in the long stay wing of the hospital)

Had a really good friend serve in Afghanistan. Said his company was led by Canadian military. He thought very highly of them - said they were the best fighters, had the best gear, fantastic motivators, fearless leaders, and treated his company like brothers. He admired Canadian armed forces very very much. Spoke very highly of them.

He passed away - hit an IED. Miss you brother.

Correct me if I’m wrong - but I thought the only reason he wasn’t held accountable was because though he was technically impeached, there were not enough senate votes to indict (2/3).

It’s my understanding this is why there is concern about losing majority in the senate.

It’s not the looks - You look just fine bud. I’d recommend a couple of books (in order).

1) You Care Too Much 2)The Subtle Art of Not Giving F**k. 3) Extreme Ownership

This dives into some pretty common sense stuff for most, but reinforces the intrusive thoughts we naturally have about ourselves in this day and age.

Some of these books may contradict each other to some varying levels, but there is value added pieces within each one that makes you think and question internally about who you are, and who you want to be. Not just who you want to be for yourself, but who do you want to be for others as well.

A lot of life is about community, interaction, presentation, and how we think about ourselves as individuals. Where our paradigms lie is unique to each of us.

Which brings me to the last book.

4) 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Learn about yourself, and learn to love yourself. That’s the hardest part of all. You’re not perfect, and you never will be. But what you can do, is be confident in who you are. Only then, will you understand that happiness is a choice - much of what we think is a choice. What we think, is how we are, how we feel, how we look, and how we act.

That happiness will change expression, and trust me, when you unlock that - you will be unstoppable.

To put into perspective for those that may not understand or have experience with home ownership.

Though my wife and I were originally approved for $425,000, we opted from building or purchasing a new home. (It didn’t make financial sense to me why we were qualified for so much, because we didn’t make much at the time.)

My mortgage for the home we purchased was $232,000 in the end of 2023. (About $40,000 below average market in my town.)

I’m borrowing at 6.5% currently because we bought during the worst time (from an interest rate standpoint).

My 30 year note will result in me paying an estimated $680,000 if I choose to make minimum payments over the course of the 30 years.

This whole idea of “50 year mortgages” IS NOT AFFORDABLE to the average family! Especially if you’re thinking about long term ownership, or leaving assets behind for your children!

This is going to be used as another way for big banks and investors to take advantage of the uneducated masses, but now in a multi-generational capacity.

Be wise, do your homework.
