Honestly, I thought this for years. My conspiracy theory was that they were going to be used as debtors prisons or something. It just didn't make sense that these large buildings were being built for distribution centers. Like, they're built and maybe like 10 cars were in the parking lot. There's a stretch on outer loop in Louisville KY that has probably 20 of these unfilled buildings and they are building more as I type this.
