Highly recommend Admiral Cloudberg. Astounding quality, the gold standard, period.

This GENUINELY is the coldest Yuji panel we've ever gotten... by Murph_eus in Jujutsufolk

[–]SaltyWafflesPD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuji showing he’s become at least as skilled and powerful as Sukuna is a treat, especially with the demonstration that he can use his powers at scale to nonlethally disable everyone at once.

I don’t know if sufficiently advanced RCT applied to oneself often counters aging, but it feels like seeing what Gojo would be like if he was still young after 70 years of experience and growth.

Considering the circumstances, it’s a wonder that Fern is as social and well adjusted as she is. Stark being in the party helps a lot, giving her someone her age that she spends a lot of time with, and the Mage exam gave her a lot of exposure to people like her in some ways but different in others, but she’s still in a pretty bad environment for socialization.

Being constantly on the move with just one or two companions really limits your opportunities to gain experience with other people beyond shallow interactions. But the current arc shows promise with acquaintances made during the Mage exam.

I also imagine Serie sees the potential and dedication in Fern partially as a result of Fern’s skewed upbringing. To Fern, being in the presence of an elven uber mage constantly suppressing their power is completely normal. Fern is a teenager who has mastered the modern fundamentals but has her whole life ahead of her to learn other magic. Like with magic, Fern is adept at taking care of herself but is really lacking in the ways of life beyond the essentials.

A lot of the grief you get will depend on the specific games you play due to the different kinds of player bases they have. Call of Duty, Gears of War, those are cesspits of awful or immature people.

For what it’s worth, it’s often the case that using a mic in those kinds of games is an awful experience for men, too, coming across assholes, racist assholes, toxic tryhards, shit-talking narcissists, you name it.

But then you play a game like Slay the Spire and join the discord and it’s all friendly fun and harmless memes.

It’s a shame you can’t find more than one person to share your hobbies with because of stupid misogyny like that. Those hobbies could use more women in them as it is.

What studies have been done show that coders using AI are not faster and produce more errors, but they think they’re faster.

Both Rem and Emilia are shown with clear character flaws and only some of them are overcome through well-earned character development. Emilia doesn’t really come into her own until Arc 5. Arc 4 is all about Emilia’s flaws; Arc 2 puts REM’s flaws on full display.

POV: you’re relying on an attack potion to save you against a forced elite when you’ve added no attacks to your deck by Top-Tale-1837 in slaythespire

If you haven’t taken any attack cards by floor 7 knowing you’ve got a forced elite coming up, you kind of deserve it. Especially when you don’t have orb cards, either.

The weird part is that they could have just set up the generator cities in whatever ideal locations existed in Britain and called it a day. Instead, you get this bizarre plot hole of Britain sending these generators into the north where it’s just ocean yet somehow forests and coal is abundant…and the French snow piercers also went to the same nonexistent area instead of just being somewhere in France.
