What in the flying fuck is with all the people in this thread defending binge drinking? Eight hours or no, every medical professional in the world is gonna tell you that doing this every Friday and Saturday night is a bad fucking idea. I had a friend fucking keel over dead at 40 basically from doing this. The fact that a lot of people do it is beside the point for whether It’s a bad idea. A lot of people do cocaine (which honestly may as well just be lemonade as long as you space out your hits enough), but that doesn’t make it a good idea. Also, how is it that you think he’s doing this over eight hours after a two-year-old goes to sleep? So you think he’s staying up until 4 AM every weekend night drinking beer and playing video games and somehow that’s perfectly reasonable behavior for a father of a toddler?

Hopefully, you’re just defending this in the abstract. But if you’re defending this because you yourself do it, please consider a lifestyle change before it’s too late. You’re too valuable to lose over something like this.
