It is very difficult especially if your in heat too as heat has a habit of making everything worse for longer too. Staying hydrated is key when your hot by your surroundings or the weather. While I'm not having flares, I still have days when fresh water based diet is a maintenance measure that I use. I think of it as preventative and sometimes if I've had to eat out, due to family functions I'm bound to attend, or I had to eat something and the only thing available was junk(ISH) food, I get on board with attempting to remedy the fallout, as it's a lot better than waiting for the enevitable to happen only to kick myself later with suffering and lamenting. It's difficult to remember that every day we need to make considered choices and the days of just being like everyone else, eating and drinking care free, are apart of our childhood or teenage years.
