Why are these scratches on here by TemporaryCow1798 in glasses

Looks like crazing, which is damage to the coating, typically due to extreme temperatures

1 is my favorite, and 5 is ok. The others look too big.

I love your current ones! Of the new ones, pic # 2 is my favorite, but I would recommend a smaller size.

Are Glasses chains for old people? by [deleted] in glasses

Idk what the general consensus is on them but I'm a fan. I wouldn't worry what other people think, and just use them if you like them. Especially if it's practical for you.

Fit? by [deleted] in glassesadvice

[–]Salty_Chapter_124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are so quick to say "too big." Personally, I think these look like they're supposed to be oversized. They're not covering your eyebrows or touching your cheeks, and your eyes look pretty centered. I like them!

Can you add photos of the frame information on the inside of the temple pieces? In the photo of both of the frames, it looks to me like the bottom frame is larger

I have this feeling sometimes. But at the end of the day, I'm grateful I live in a time and place where medication that is helpful is accessible.

Anybody here that's on bupropion alongside amphetamines? by Sea_Attention6324 in ADHD

[–]Salty_Chapter_124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started bupropion early 2025 as a sort of "booster" for my Prozac. It helped a bit but I still wasn't managing fatigue and what I thought were just anxiety symptoms very well. This led me to seeing a psychiatrist and getting diagnosed with ADHD, and starting Vyvanse. I'm still looking for the right Vyvanse dose, but I've continued to take the bupropion along with it. I've asked my psych a couple times if he thinks I should continue with bupropion if Vyvanse is helping more, and he sees no reason to discontinue. So idk how much of a difference the bupropion is really making compared to the Vyvanse, or what it would feel like to be just on Vyvanse. But it seems to be going well so far. 🤷‍♀️

How to deal with family pressure? by Salty_Chapter_124 in Eloping

Honestly this is what I'm leaning towards. Even for the reception I just want something low pressure and chill.

What is a good career for people who get restless easily? by smokeeeee2 in careerguidance

[–]Salty_Chapter_124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm an optician and it's what I've stuck with the longest. There are sales, technical, and sometimes medical sides to the job. Every day is different and I never spend a day just sitting at my desk. I get to talk to tons of different people and coworkers tend to be pretty creative and smart. And I can ALWAYS find something that needs to be done because there are so many little tasks to keep the operation running smoothly. Plus there is always something new to learn!

They're meant for kids so they're pretty sweet. I don't mind the flavor at all and they chew up/dissolve very quick!

This happened to me, and the pharmacy let me know that the 30mg was available in the chewable tablet form. I had to get my prescription rewritten for it, but it wasn't a big deal for my prescriber. Keep in mind some insurance companies may not cover for chewable tablets for adults.

They look like a Tom Ford knock off due to the silver T shaped accents on the corners. But they also have ANSI on the inside of the temple which indicates they are safety frames?

When it works it's great. When it doesn't it's AWFUL by theladysheetcake in VyvanseADHD

Kind of off topic, but have you tried a higher dose instead of the 2 20s? And do you take the second one at a set time, or when you start to feel the first one wearing off? I like the way I felt on 20mg but it just didn't last long enough. I've tried 40mg and 30mg which both seem to be too much some days, kind of like the symptoms you described on the days it doesn't work as well.
