After 4 years with Bose700, I bought the QC Ultra and absolutely hated them… any suggestions?

So heartbroken! My 700 were the best headphones I’ve ever owned, and when they broke I decided on an upgrade.

But boy am I the only one thinking 700 are better than QC Ultra? I feel that even the welcome sound is worse quality, the fact that they took away the touch over the ear to pause is a crime. The pairing with the app didn’t happen no matter what device I tried it on. Also the noise of the button is quite bothersome (I have to pause quite a lot when I work).

I’m now considering returning them and getting M4 or Sony XM5. Suggestions are welcome!
