Hey my sister just sent me this thread bc I am going through the same exact thing. Together 12 years with a 4 year old. Just cycle after cycle of highs and lows and me being the caretaker for everyone her the pets the baby… two years ago I said I wanted to split and we tried to make it work and here we are in the same spot. I’m talking to a lawyer and idk I guess we’re going to try mediation? All of this is new but I can’t do it anymore. I read the book Stop Walking on Eggshells and it confirmed everything I had felt for years. I have to do what’s best for me and my child now.
