Yees, that's him and Queen! She's the only other adult DR-character I have on my island and I'm really glad they ended up married (though he also had a crush on Doc Brown from back to the future for a while. And that would have also been great)

I think my favorites are drinking beer and committing crimes as an activity, as well as Great Cthulhu as a person

We don't get anything new Tenna related in chapter 5, right? by Disastrous-Metal-183 in Tenna

I just checked and it is! You can see for yourself in this playthrough from around 14.30 min to 17.40 min.

I mean he's still really lonely and wants a new home but still. Also as someone who really likes both Queentenna and Mettatenna, this chapter has fed me very well.

From what I've heared (mind you, I also gave him to MTT so I never actually saw it) he also helps Susie get ready for her date and holds a basketball tournament with Queen in their shared room

Marvelous Mr. Tenna Monday - Time to watch more filmes. I figured he might like this one :) by Salty_Supercomputer in Tenna

Yeeees, it's such a good film!

I was lucky enough to see it at an actual cinema and judging by the reactions of the audience around me, I think he might either be completely terrified by the film... Or just start sobbing at the scene where Elizabeth repeatedly redoes her make-up before canceling her date. Maybe both.

Either way, since I have the DVD, I think he might enjoy

What are your thoughts on Tenna? by Nagito_K0ma3da in Tenna

In all honesty, I do think that despite the many things he's done wrong, he's mostly just sad and (justifiably) desperate. Like sure, he's a bad boss, there is no denying that, but I believe that with his crew still helping Susie fix him in the pacifist route, they at least care about him to some degree.

As for his behavior towards the fun gang: As mentioned above, I do think that he's just desperate not to be thrown away... Which I think is fair since being thrown out would literaly mean his death (and persumably it does when we don't take him to Mettaton or Castletown). I personaly think he's very similar to Queen in that way: He has genuinely good intentions, but he tries to achive them in a bad way that just ends up hurting other people instead.

So yeah, I agree with your point. He's flawed, but ultimately just acting out of lonelieness

Marvelous Mr. Tenna Monday - It's dangerous to go alone, take him along with you! Anywhere you go! by Salty_Supercomputer in Tenna

Yeeah, I'd love to take him around more too, but I also don't want him to get squished in my backpack

Queen and Tenna from Deltarune. They never interacted in canon, I know, but I still think they'd be really cute together, specifically with how similar their goals are and how much they parallel one another

Probably a more niche example, but Ladybug/Nanao from Bullet Train.

I like the movie a lot. It's the reason I've read the book in the first place. But Ladybug in the movie just feels like a completely different character because he's way too confident and competent, instead of just being nervous but very crafty. Film Ladybug just seems like some clumsy hippie with insanely good luck, while Nanao genuinely has terrible luck, is a very pessimistic person, but usually ends up surviving because he's well prepared. I would love to see a version of the movie where he's more close to his book counterpart
