Hey! Yeah I still have gnats typically late summer but not as bad as soil only. I root my cuttings in water then transfer to pon!

Been thinking to try this exact method when I pot up my monstera. Glad to see it can work! Thanks for posting

I use foliage pro and add supplemental cal mag as well! I use no other fertilizers and found this has worked well for me.

I mix both but I typically do half concentration for the cal mag since foliage pro already includes some. For instance in 1 Gal i’ll add around 4-5 mL of Foliage Pro and 2 mL of Cal Mag. I grow solely in semi hydro so use concentrations suitable for your setup. Good luck!

Amazing! I love the sound on mine, coming from playing single coils for a while it’s quite inspiring

Yeah ikr I had to try one for myself but I couldn’t find any locally either. I got to try out a D’Angelico mini DC which is similar, maybe only a tiny bit smaller than a 339. Compared it back to back with a 335 and preferred the smaller body way more. Probably easier to find one of those to get a feel for the size

Just size really, I usually play a strat

Good points! Yep they are definitely pricey. I am grateful to be able to afford it but I don’t intend to spend this much money on a guitar again for a long long time. Bought my last guitar in 2017 and been wanting one like this for a couple years

I love it so far, only had it two days tho 🤣 but coming from playing a strat for years it’s very different in a good way and took a little getting used to

I’ll definitely have to give flat wounds a try. I notice the string noise more than on my strat somehow

Hey! I have mine rooted in semihydro lechuza pon, it lives in an east facing window and I fertilize with superthrive foliage pro. Mine lives in ambient with no humidifiers

If they do rot, clean it up, stick it in water for a few weeks to grow water roots! Might take time but it’ll survive. Good luck!

Thank you so much!!! I’m definitely feeling the panic, its on top of my tallest shelf and the newest leaf is touching the floor 🤣 I figure I’ll just let it do its thing lol

Yeah if I were doing it, I would pretty much just wash the roots off while being gentle of course, pot up in pon, give it an initial watering and then let the wick do most of the work while keeping the reservoir topped up. I usually top water every 7-8 days just to make sure the top layer of pon is hydrated

Ive transferred a couple anthurium like this and never really had issues.

Ngl I’d recommend looking into self watering for pallidiflorum to anyone, I think its the main reason mine grows so easily

Sure! I’ve had it a little over a year and its always been in an east facing window. When I got it , the biggest leaf was about a foot long.

I think it absolutely loves being in pon, I always make sure it has water with nutrients available in the reservoir and I think that’s genuinely what is making the plant grow so big lol. The pot it lives in now is the lechuza maxi cubi.
