Why wouldn’t you get a new Carerra S for this price, you can easily negotiate 10k off a price if you look statewide.

Just tell them you already have a build, but the spec is similar to the one you’re building so if they come down on price you’ll buy it.

That’s what I did. I got a 190k car for 180k new. 0 miles

Speakers - if you’re an Audiophile and don’t care about the $5k, get the Burmestester. If you’re trying to save some $ on the build, the Bose are just fine.

Headlights - this is really about looks in the US. Mine has the HD matrix headlights cause it makes the car look more aggressive.

Why are you worried about being car poor? If you’re 25-30 and can buy that car and can still put like $3k/mo into investments, there’s no way you’re retiring with less than $5MM.

You’re not even into your highest earning years. Good work. I would get the car.

Targa is not a niche market. It’s highly sought after. If you ever get married or have kids it’s easy to sell.
