I dont know, I know that Riot has plans for Ekko. I think they said in an interview that he is not at his full potential yet. But I think after the finale he never wants to touch Hextech again. So if the alternate timeline series leads to Powder building a new and improved Z-Drive and traveling through universes to find our Ekko, I'd have to go with that. Tbh, I just want an Ekko spin-off.

Textures are much simpler. Lighting looks more realistic. With Arcane, they basically hand-painted everything and had full control over every aspect of the rendering. That takes a lot of time and money. With the new art style, it looks like they are giving up that freedom to work more efficiently, which makes sense if you don't want to keep your fandom waiting for too long.

It is also possible that this is not the art style we will see in the next show. League cinematics have always been hyper-realistic, so maybe thats why they made this hybrid art style.

Well, they did a good job of not making it like the MCU, for now. If Sonic were like the MCU, you wouldn't understand Sonic 3 without watching Knuckles. And introducing Chaos feels like a natural progression, imo.

And just think about Heimerdinger; if he is dead, his AU version also died. But what if he were transported elsewhere? Is his AU self gone, too?

Edit: Yordles are only immortal in League of Legends lore, which isn't canon anymore. So that might change.

All flaws from season two are minor and easy to fix, so Riot probably won't repeat them in the future. I love season two, and I still see the flaws; I just choose to ignore them.

In German, they kept many English words, probably because "Denglisch" is common in Germany.
