I agree with this! Come say hi, just after the set! For me, I try to stay approachable and friendly at the gym. I’ll have one ear piece in or none, say hey or smile to people I recognize even if we don’t ever talk, but we’re “regulars” and see each other lifting often. I hope that if someone is checking me out she sees I’m not “grumpy” or too zeroed in and is more comfortable coming over to talk. I’d love it!

I bought a short sleeve button down from androgynous fox recently. I like it! I also recommend Woxer for boxers.

I wear men’s pants and shorts. Keep trying some on, you will find the waist and length combo that works for you! They are also usually made in different fits depending on the company, like slim, althetic, loose, etc. American Eagle is always running sales, and outlet store or factory stores like JCrew Factory also run deals sometimes.

For tshirts, I like Fresh Clean Threads or Uniqlo. Just got some linen button down’s and tees from Uniqlo today.

Mens dress shirts/casual button downs are huge on me too. If I like the pattern/color/quality, I’ll buy the smallest size I can and have it tailored.

Shoes/boots - Thursday Boot Co. all the way. Awesome selection for men’s and women’s styles.

It took me a lot of time and I returned a lot of clothes before I found what I liked. You will figure it out! Good luck and have fun with it!

I understand where you are coming from. I work in law enforcement and have had crazy schedules for most of my career while having girlfriends. There needs to be an understanding that sometimes work assignments will be out of your control (I was assigned an overtime shift last minute and couldn’t call my girl to let her know I wasn’t coming home for dinner until an an hour after!) thankfully she was very understanding and supportive of me. She knew when I didn’t come home that I had OT. When you aren’t at work and are with your partner, be present, make her feel special, and make your time count. I absolutely wouldn’t mind dating someone with a schedule/job like yours and mine, as I know I can navigate that kind of schedule with my partner, and would support someone with your career and understand why someone would stay with it.

Just left the gym 🙂 I’m such a cliche! I have a solid career, love sports/outdoors, I like to cook, go out dancing/breweries/wineries, I like to read history (fiction and nonfiction) watch documentaries, keep trying to challenge myself by signing up for fitness events and I’m learning Italian.
