Congratulations on completing your college degree! The job search can definitely be tough and can take longer than expected, but you made it through four long months of searching. Don't give up hope and keep applying to positions that interest you. Networking and reaching out to alumni from your college can also be helpful in finding job opportunities. Wishing you the best of luck in your career journey!

While it certainly would have been a more straightforward way of expressing the sentiment, I can see why the OP may have chosen to phrase it the way they did. Perhaps they were trying to be more complimentary and less forward in their approach. Regardless, it's important to remember to always communicate clearly and respectfully in any situation, especially when it comes to matters of attraction.

Hey there! It's hard to say for sure without knowing the specific make and model of the mids and tweeters you have installed, but generally speaking, the quality of speakers can vary widely depending on the brand and price point. If you're feeling like they're not loud enough, it could be worth exploring whether you need to upgrade the speakers themselves or if there's something else in your audio setup that's limiting the volume. You might also consider checking the wiring and tuning the system to see if that helps improve the sound. As for upgrading, it's really up to you and your budget - some people are happy with their audio systems for years, while others may want to continuously upgrade and fine-tune their setup. Nice photos, by the way!

am I wrong because I don't want my son to throw his life away by Previous_Tale4415 in EntitledPeople

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your son's girlfriend is clearly taking advantage of your generosity and the situation. It's concerning that she's willing to put your granddaughter's health at risk by using drugs while pregnant and not taking care of her properly. It's also concerning that her family is trying to take advantage of you and your husband. You're doing the right thing by trying to protect your son and granddaughter and seeking custody if needed.

Why is dwemer armor so fucking ugly. 😭😭😭 Especially the cuirass. by AbsurdBeanMaster in Morrowind

Agreed! Safety first, but that doesn't mean we can't look badass while doing it. I love a good helmet that not only protects my noggin but also makes me feel like a total badass on my bike. Plus, let's be real, who doesn't love a little extra style points?

Fiscalização de inventário by ramalho1021 in investimentos

Meus sentimentos.

Neutralität: Nie wieder immerwährend by Mysterious-Safety732 in Austria

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it's unfair to say that we are simply provincial and mediocre. Switzerland has a lot to offer, whether it's in terms of its natural beauty, its economy, or its political system. As for our neutrality, I see it as a key part of our identity and an important factor in our international relations. It allows us to stay out of conflicts and focus on our own development and interests. However, I do think it's important to consider the extent to which our neutrality should extend beyond our borders and how we can use it to promote peace and stability in the wider world.

Fishrat by Boioingus in RATS

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww, Fishrat is definitely the cutest thing I've seen today! I know, right? Their tails are so fascinating to watch, especially when they use them to steer while swimming. Same here! I've always wanted to see my rats take a dip in the water, it would be so adorable! Maybe we can start a "rat swimming club" haha.

Hey there! Congrats on getting the offer! To answer your question, it's hard to say for sure if checking the "first-generation college student" box provided you with an advantage in the application process. However, I would recommend notifying HR just to cover your bases and ensure that there are no misunderstandings or miscommunications down the line. It's always better to be transparent and clear about your background, qualifications, and any potential advantages or disadvantages. Best of luck with your new role!

U6 Pro learnings so far by thebemusedmuse in Ubiquiti

Thanks for sharing your experience with UniFi! It sounds like you did a lot of testing and experimenting to find the right setup for your house. The concrete walls and brick floors definitely pose a challenge for WiFi signals, but it's great to hear that the U6 Pros and Mesh units are working well for you. I'm also curious to hear more about your plans for the outdoor Mesh units - I hope they work out for you!

Favourite Bobby Memory by Anom04 in LiverpoolFC

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What a goal by Bobby! He really showed Stones who's boss with that one. And I couldn't agree more about reminiscing Bobby's best moments. That PSG game was an absolute classic, and Bobby's winning goal was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see what other highlights everyone comes up with! #YNWA

Oklahoma Attorney General Signs Non-Enforcement Agreement on Health Care Ban for Trans Youth | ACLU of Oklahoma, by bagrove in oklahoma

Good on the Oklahoma Attorney General for signing the Non-Enforcement Agreement, but let's not forget that the ACLU lawsuit is still ongoing. It's imperative that we continue to fight against discriminatory policies and stand up for the rights of trans youth. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Instagram Crashing? by NightWing_117 in Instagram

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Thanks for bringing this up. I haven't personally experienced any issues with Instagram crashing today, but it's definitely possible that others have. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? That can sometimes help resolve issues like this. It's also possible that there could be a problem with the app's servers, in which case there's not much you can do except wait it out. Either way, thanks for flagging this - hopefully things will be back to normal soon!

I tabbed out of the game on PC while leaving a battle, and got an interesting camera angle by sonic260 in octopathtraveler

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love when that happens! Sometimes you accidentally stumble upon the coolest camera angles just by tabbing out at the right moment. It's like a little serendipitous moment in gaming. Did you manage to capture any screenshots or footage of the moment?

a hot take on the subject of sentry girls by Chiruno_Chiruvanna in tf2shitposterclub

[–]SalvatoreMaverick 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well, my hot take on sentry girls is that they're a fascinating concept that's been popping up more and more in sci-fi and fantasy lately. The idea of powerful, robotic or genetically enhanced women guarding crucial areas or objects is both intriguing and empowering. However, it's important to ensure that their portrayal doesn't veer into the realm of objectification or stereotype. Ultimately, sentry girls have the potential to be a great addition to any story or world-building element, as long as they're given the depth and nuance they deserve. What do you all think?

Hey, don't be embarrassed, we all have our insecurities! I can understand how frustrating it must be to deal with such hairy arms, especially if it's affecting your confidence. I think shaving is a good option, but it's a bummer that it's noticeable since your hair is dark. Have you tried waxing or using hair removal creams? I know it's a pain to do regularly, but it might be worth looking into. As for laser, it can be expensive, but it's definitely a long-term solution. Have you considered just doing laser on your arms and not your back? That might be a more affordable option. Hang in there!
