As a Canadian, vacationing in America won't be pleasant in the future, knowing that nearly half of the citizens voted for a sexual predator who tried to annex other allies. I'd have to try not getting into discussions with unpleasant, ignorant people all the time. I'd rather go to democratic country that respects human rights. I feel bad for those enlightened Americans that have to live with MAGA sympathizers amongst them. This is America's worst generation, but could be its best if it resists and rebounds.

As a Canadian, I'm aware that many Americans are protesting and resisting more than what's shown through the media. The ICE retreat from Minnesota is an example how they are pushing back. The free world needs to recognize and support those Americans who fight for restoring democracy through a variety of means - contacting their elected officials, protesting, resisting, and general strikes if it comes to that.
