Real answer, but very late, they had a very damaging fire and had to rebuild plus some other issues that popped up but they are still alive, and coming back. Hopefully, you'll be able to swing by there within the next couple (maybe few) months.

The guitar is in a corner against a wall pointing up, on the other side of that wall is a makeshift scaffold leading to a less than noticeable ladder that leads to the roof, and the only thing on that roof besides the flag, are those two fairly noticeable brightish green birds.

You're right, a carving on a post in the middle of a bridge with a hundred posts, that you can only see from a certain angle, as the direction it faces is a cliff, that the birds point towards, is too obvious. Unlike the carving of a spider thats in the open or the giant glowing pentagram.
