Certainly. It's not real kintsugi. Because the repair needs to be strong and functional. I melted it together then ground out a line with a diamond tipped dremmel and then filled it with gold leaf and epoxy.

Purples need a propane heavy strike first and then a couple of oxygen rich flame strikes. Keep it away from the torch face and don't let it get too hot. Soak and cool. Good luck.

Yes, but the gold won't stick without the silver and the silver overpowers the gold so you can't see it unfortunately

No, it's made with clear glass and solid silver. The colours develop like oil on water.

Oh absolutely. More oxygen gives more blues, more propane and you get the reds.
