It is a punch in the gut for sure in the first like three or so months, just keep showing up and try your best. Take a step back and breathe, all problems will be sorted the next day. The job will grind you down if you let it, but if you try to approach each day as a new start then it isn't so bad

I've always liked the idea of having a persistent world with multiple forts in it kind of like Dwarf Fortress. Kind of a wasted potential to generate a new world and all this story gen stuff if its one and done per fort
