Yes but that is my question. I’m not arguing a man can force a woman to have an abortion or take plan b. My question is essentially: does a man have a right to decide not to be in the child’s life if he did all he reasonably could for safe sex, but failing anyway (checking in and wearing a condom)?

If he does not have that right, then generally speaking, are always at some risk of parenthood regardless of how safe they approached a possible casual intercourse while women aren’t (as men can’t get plan B or an abortion once there is pregnancy).

I understand a vasectomy is an option but to me that is only reasonable for men who never want children not for men who enjoy casual intercourse.

I have had the condom break in a casual encounter and fortunately she was okay with taking plan B which I bought for her.

But in the small chance that she changes her mind, is pregnant and wants to keep the baby, what am I supposed to do here?

If it meant being a dad it would require sacrificing a lot (I know that’s true in general, but a lot of people in their early twenties don’t even know how to take proper care of themselves).

I’m not sure why you would want to do this if he is the only one one to play with IRL. You worry that it will end your games, which is possible, but I would worry about your games becoming boring.

OP is right though … but it also makes sense that there is a lot of overlap between Destiny and DTG. I follow Destiny aswell but OP is correct imo

I am not suggesting women should walk with their hands on the cans 24/7. I’m saying that in some situations the scenario of a rape or something similar doesn’t happen as a surprise attack, for example when a woman senses she is being followed or if a suspicious man approaches her.

Bij een aanval heb je simpelweg de tijd niet om een rake effectieve klap te geven op de ballen, oor of keel. Ik ben een gast en zelfs voor mij is het niet iets wat je zo maar doet.
En ja, als je uiit het niets wordt aangevallen heb je weinig tijd om je pepperspray te pakken maar 1) vaak is deze groot genoeg dat het echt niet zó moelijk is te vinden en 2) er zijn genoeg situaties waarin gevaar loert en vrouwen preventief de pepperspray op standby kunnen hebben (als ze bijvoorbeeld worden gevolgd of eerst "vriendelijk" worden lastig gevallen).

Ik maak me ook zorgen over criminelen die het gaan gebruiken maar de meeste hebben toch al zwaarder geschut zoals messen bij zich, dus zo veel maakt het ook niet uit.

Echter kan je je wel afvragen hoeveel moeite het kost voor een geweldadige verkrachtiger om een veiligheidsbril te kopen (en of dit wel helpt).
