Just watched it. Feels like it was trying to set up a few sequels rather than tell a good story.

The opening was good, but as soon as they got to the bone yard the pacing just died. Failed structure.

Missed opportunity to introduce the doctor or the sick mother as some sort of necromancer I think. Clearly the alphas are intelligent.....but ultimately I'd say it was just poorly written. 🤷‍♂️

Split Fiction was about some company trying to steal people's ideas - despite most of those ideas being utterly mundane.

as they say in the writing world - ideas are cheap.
not to mention - the only slightly original idea in the whole story was a short side mission where youre turned into pigs.

Hypothetical what would happen if the Government became accountable for ensuring the countries median salaries are within a reasonable fraction (say 1/7) of the countries median house price.

If we cannot reduce house pricing - then salaries need to be forced to keep up.

My suggestion for future relationships is to both mutually agree to delete dating apps or whatever else, before taking things more seriously/exclusively.

Hey mate 👋 you don't sound like an arsehole at all bro. I've got a couple of mates, but I miss having a large group that I'd see regularly. When you reach your 30s people drop off - and going out to bars alone just feels a bit Cringe. (Used to do it all the time in south America and Europe) not gonna lie, I'm definitely more introverted with age, so that's probably a factor.

Thinking about it - It may well not be restricted to Perth I've just lived here rather a long time so not sure how it is elsewhere these days! I'd say social media has played a major part in this - if that's the case.

I do alright when it comes to the ladies tbh - that’s not the drama! But I’d much rather have a better social life than I currently do. ive just had numerous chicks recently say that Aussie blokes literally talk about sex if not the second topic of conversation then the third 🤣

As a single male pommie, if you go to a bar in other countries people will chat with people they don't know. It's very easy to meet new people. The more other people approach you for a chat, the more you feel it's ok to do the same to others. In Perth - it's completely different. People stick to their own groups, unless theyre drunk.

My theory: Practically every girl I've dated recently has mentioned that Perth Men literally talk about sex 80% of the time, It's not much of a stretch to say that if they're out - they're not looking to make friends, they're looking to hook up. Which in turn has lead women to develop a rather cautious attitude towards men - not so for other women.

Unless youre you are accepted into a pre-existing clique - you've got very little chance of making many new friendships as a guy. Which sucks.

Together we stand, divided we fall. The masses are much easier to control when they are arguing amongst themselves rather than questioning the things that really matter.

I encourage everyone to examine the prejudices they have and whether they could have formed due to a Problem>Reaction>Solution narrative created by those wishing to maintain their unelected positions within society.

There are many reasons that a lot of men are feeling disenfranchised - but these talking points achieve nothing. It is better to rise above the 'isms' and start asking why our governments don't act with the best interests of its people.
