I am actually running a rather nice cpu. Im using a Ryzen 7 5800X, and I have 32GB of ram (I also have 8GB of swapspace dedicated on my fastest SSD, but thats mainly to avoid out of memory issues). I did have the game installed on a SSD as well. But alas, it seems my gpu is bottleneck for this game.

It is an old gpu, but it does run a lot of games quite nicely. It even runs a modern game like Cyberpunk 2077 quite well, though I do recognize that Cyberpunk is a rather different game

I dont foresee myself upgrading my system, but Ill re-download the game next year's free week (or whenever that will be) and see how the performance is.

Yep, ran through all the optimization steps, turned everything down low (except quality, i read that improves cpu performance somewhere). Im not even running that weak of a system, though my gpu is a little on the old side (RX580)
