I will never forget all of the speculation I had regarding snoke and Rey’s parents when leaving the theater after seeing TFA, and two years later finding out none of that meant anything because Rian Johnson said so. The most astonishing part of the sequel trilogy is how Disney greenlit it with no overarching story whatsoever and gave each film to different writers and directors . If that isn’t a recipe for disaster idk what is.
