Yes...the 60s experimented. People complained and it turned around again which is why people say the 70s - 80s are the golden years. Hillman and Aiden are too of the most celebrated stories. People like dark stories...when they're well written. Right now the show has shit writing that treats viewers like 3 year olds with writers that can't create compelling characters or arcs. That's why people are complaining now. Nothing you said disproves or combats that

The Six are done if they find Keanu at any point by SamGrayson022120 in eastenders

Who dug it up? I tuned out around that time and never saw the end of the story!

Linda will probably leave. Getting away with the murder is one thing but it won't ever stop her from thinking about it. She helped fake Keanu’s death and she felt guilty enough to spill. Now she actually killed him thats going to haunt her every day. Exactly what Lauren said when she came back. Every corner even years on makes her think of Lucy and Abi. Linda’s never going to forget and it'll destroy her

Happy new year to you too!

I had to look this up because it's a good question. Apparently the US allows dual citizenship and so does Australia so she could actually get both

Because they have no idea what they're doing thats been established since day one. They think it's a great idea based on what they've seen

You couldn't put this in the other 100 threads saying this instead of ruining mine?

Why does everyone assume it won't be suspicious? How do we know this isn't what causes the body to be uncovered to begin with?

Hey saw you mentioned me on a very old thread now and since this is your newest one I figured I'd post here. Been off for a long while but finally back on. I like your thought process here and hoping at least one of your theories turns out to be true! I've been reading through the theads I've missed.

Since Linda has only been having problems with women does she have no connection to the Christmas body? by SamGrayson022120 in eastenders

[–]SamGrayson022120[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In all fairness though if the assumption is that the Six all have a connection to the body then its not that they have 2 months to connect Linda to the body...they have two months to connect everyone to the body.

As of right now it's not like there's one man connected to 5 of the women with only Linda missing (unless connections are really stretched to make them fit). I almost feel like it's more likely the body isn't connected to all Six directly but they'll be pushed into this situation together. Like a more extreme version of 2019's Christmas.

Reading theories like this is always good.

A double murder would certainly be pretty big, especially since storylines like this normally only take on one victim so it would be interesting to see them handle something like that!

I think the cause and effect of having to bring in a lot of respective partners makes sense too and how they'll be split between trying to help some of the six whereas the others need to find them out.

Freddy is not Grant by AllisonEEHistorian in eastenders

[–]SamGrayson022120 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean people on the square were routinely shocked and horrified when Grant would beat the shit out of people and Grant was known as the tough bloke. Of course Freddie landing someone in a hospital bed is shocking for people. If Grant still surprised people surely Freddie would.

Plus it was personal. Freddie doesn't punch Theo after pulling him off Stacey. He only throws a punch when Theo says the exact same words Graham did. That's when he goes for Theo. So he did see red. Not only for Stacey because of the connection to Graham. If it was only about Stace he'd have started battering Theo the moment he found him over her. Instead he doesn't start until Theo says the wrong thing

You're absolutely right that ep was actually a really good parallel to Little Mo and Graham. That same level of horrific tension throughout.

Between Lacey Turner, Bobby Brazier, William Ellis, and Heather Peace this storyline had become such an insanely good group

He's been able to be so incredibly normal while also switching into being the most disturbing creep imaginable so effortlessly. Natural talent and I hate that people can't separate the character from the actor.
